Pune: Traffic Constable Dies In Accident While Returning To Office For ‘Panch Pran Shapath’
Pune 9th August 2023: In a tragic accident reported near Manik Chowk in Chakan earlier today, a traffic constable attached with the Chakan Traffic division lost his life. The incident took place at around 10 am when the constableT was returning to the office.
According to police, traffic constable Yogesh Ganpat Dhawale (40) was posted at Manik Chauk in Chakan at 8 am in the morning. At around 10 am in the morning he was returning to the office to administer ‘Panch Pran Shapath’ as it is being administered all across the government offices in the country today under the central government’s ‘Meri Mati Meri Desh’ program.
Unfortunately, while returning to office his motorcycle was hit by a Highway Truck near a petrol pump. Dhawale sustained serious injuries in the accident and he was rushed to the nearby hospital for the treatment. However, the doctors have declared him dead. Police have launched investigation in the matter.
