Pune University Declares Tentative Schedule For Final Year Exams

Pune, September 10, 2020: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) will be conducting the online as well as offline examinations of the final year students in the multiple choice questions (MCQ) format. The University has also declared a tentative timetable for the examinations. Thus, the students can now start preparing for the exam.

A total of 3,64,000 students from the colleges affiliated with the University in Pune, Ahmednagar and Nashik districts have registered for the examination. Out of these, 2,23,000 students are the regular students, while the rest are the ones answering backlog examinations. While the University would allow all the students to answer online examinations, any students wishing to answer the examinations in offline mode would be allowed to do so. The students will have to choose their preferred mode of answering the examination by September 13 by filling an online application form.

The practical examination, viva, group discussions, etc. will have to be conducted online via apps like Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Team, Telephone, etc., and the colleges will have to maintain recordings of all these examinations. The colleges have been instructed to register the internal marks of the students by October 5. As per the tentative schedule, the backlog examinations will be held between October 1 and 9, while the regular examinations might take place from October 10 to 30.
