Pune, 4th April 2026: Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT), Kondhwa, will host a five-day intercollegiate festival titled Gandharva’26 – Perception from April 6 to April 10, bringing together students from colleges across Pune and other parts of Maharashtra.

The multi-domain fest will feature a blend of esports competitions, cultural performances, and a range of technical as well as non-technical events. Organisers said the festival aims to provide a platform for students to showcase their talents, compete with peers from other institutions, and participate in activities that combine creativity, technology and competitive gaming.

According to the organisers, the event is designed to promote both technical and cultural excellence while encouraging esports participation. Activities will focus on building skills such as strategic thinking, teamwork and problem-solving through competitive gaming events, while also offering creative opportunities through dance, music and other cultural performances.

The festival is also expected to serve as a networking platform for students from different colleges, allowing them to interact, collaborate and share ideas. Organisers believe such initiatives help increase student engagement and contribute to broader institutional visibility.

Registrations for Gandharva’26 – Perception are open to students from colleges across Pune and Maharashtra. Participants can register through both online and offline modes. Online registration can be completed through the official event portal.

Students seeking updates and additional information about the festival can also follow the official Student Council social media handle of VIIT on Instagram.

The event will be held at the VIT campus in Kondhwa, which was earlier known as the Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (VIIT).
