PYC A lifts title at the Second Edition of Manegrow Narendra Sopal Memorial Tennis Club Championship 2023
Pune, November 7, 2023: PYC A beat Tennisnuts Roger 17-13 to lift title at the Second Edition of Manegrow Narendra Sopal Memorial Tennis Club Championship 2023 which is being organized by Tennisnuts under the auspices of PMDTA and played at NCL Tennis Complex, Pashan.
In the finals PYC A scored a 17-13 win over Tennisnuts Rogers. In the 90 Plus, Anup Minda and Rutu Kulkarni lost to Sandeep Belludi and Joy Banerjee 5-6, In the 60 Plus Abhishek Tamhane and Amogh Beheray ousted Dr Ravi Kothari and Dr. Rahul Kothari 6-4, while in the 80 Plus Yogesh Pantsachiv and Parag Natekar sealed the win with an identical win over Amit Kindo and Nitin Sawant 6-3.
The winner PYC A got trophy and Rs.41,000/-, while runner up Tennisnuts Roger received trophy and Rs.21,000/-. Apart from that Third position winner received a trophy and Rs.10,000/- and 4th position got trophy and Rs.7,500/-. The prizes were given away at the hands of Mr.Umesh Mane, CEO of Manegrow, Mr. Vijay Deshmukh, Additional Commissioner, Mr.Sameer Bhamre, Director of Capovitez, Mr.Gautam Sopal of TEP India. Mr.Deepak Bhapkar (Patil), Mrs. Sanjana Belludi, Dr Pradeep Kunchur, Mr.Sachin Moralwar, President of Rotary Club Aundh, AWTA Head Coach Mr. Aniket Wakankar and Tournament Director Mr.Sudhir Pisal were present on the occasion.
