Rains Predicted With Arrival Of Lord Ganesha In Pune And Some Parts Of Maharashtra

Pune, 30th August 2022: Light showers are likely in some parts of the Maharashtra state on Wednesday (August 31) and September 1, the day of Ganesha’s arrival. Mainly in South Konkan, West-North Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha also sporadic rain forecast has been expressed by the Meteorological Department. There is a possibility of rain in some areas with lightning.

The state has been exposed to rain for the past few days. Therefore, the maximum temperature of the day has gone between 30 and 34 degrees. Therefore, in some areas, the intensity of the sun is felt in the afternoon. At present, the intensity of rain has increased in the northeastern states.

Similarly, due to the cyclical condition of the winds in the south, the rain is getting stronger in these areas as well. As a result, light showers are expected in most parts of the state. Heavy rains lashed Nashik on Tuesday. Sporadic rain occurred in Mahabaleshwar, Satara, Solapur, Parbhani etc.

According to the forecast given by the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in the districts of Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Raigad etc. for the next two days. A warning of gusty wind has been given in some areas with thunderbolt, light rain is also predicted in Pune, Nashik, Nagar, Jalgaon, Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli, Solapur, Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed, Nanded, Latur, Osmanabad and other districts. In Vidarbha too, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of sporadic to light showers in almost all parts.
