Dr Rajesh Savera , a world renowned Ayurvedic Physician and Psychotherapist, close associate of Dr Lim and Director of SIF,  is the most prominent ‘Sunya Pravartaka’ motivating and guiding many through Sunya Samatha Vipasyana Retreats. What is Sunya?

Basically Sunya is an excellent program to reset ourselves. The primary purpose of Sunya is to train the mind and unleash its high potential. All one does in Sunya is embrace every experience with awareness and live in the present. When one gets fully relaxed with his/her being, it will bring his/her mind and body in synchronization. In Sunya, every individual is allowed to follow their religions and practices. Sunyata does not impose any form of feelings and ideologies on them. The reverse count is followed as the primary method of Sunya. At SIF’s centers, ‘Sunya’ meditation is taught as a part of therapeutic healing. The solitary objective of this is to bring peace and prosperity.

The Sunyatee principles and Philosophy…

Sunya practitioners are embedded with profound values of 9-No and 5- I Shall Not . These are basic principles which paves practice of non discriminatory and selfless attitude . One who follows 9-No  & 5- I Shall Not  in letter and spirit, feels liberated and finds himself/ herself really closer to being noble .

No mentor and teacher in Sunya claims that these principles and philosophies are made or invented by them. It is purely based on Ancient Indian Scriptures. Each and every step in practice has a valid reference to ancient sutras like Vajrachhedika Pragya Paarmitaa Sutra (Popularly Known as The Diamond Sutra) and The Hriday Sutra and The Satipatthana Sutra . These are taught by explaining minutely .

As One progress higher in the Seven Belt System resembling seven colours of rainbow (ROYGBIV), starting from Red belt practice towards Violet , All Nobel sermons and philosophies of different religions and sects like Geeta ,Shabad Gurbaani and  other philosophies are taught and meditated upon.

What is Sunyatee Retreat?

The Sunyatee retreat is a three days residential camp for new practitioners. It is usually organised on weekends so that people come and rejuvenate, rediscover, refresh and… Reset them. The retreat begins with the Introductory Session “What is Sunya”. Early in the morning everyone wakes up and gathers in the open lawn or garden of the venue. Morning special Sunya breathing exercise is performed along with some physical toning exercises. The entire day is divided into Meditation sessions. The wonder is those who cannot sit and stay still for even 10 minutes, find themselves sitting for more than an hour happily and peacefully. The technique that is taught is very easy.

I have been practicing Sunya for at least one year. I am happy to have participated in many residential retreats held at Nagpur, Siddipet (Telangana) and other places, now I hold Green Belt. To be true, every retreat that I have attended under the guidance of Dr Rajesh Savera, gives me new enlightenment. Sunya has metamorphosis impact who practices regularly. As we come across and experience the level of anxiety, Depression has increased around the globe. One cannot experience real happiness and prosperity even if they have it in abundance unless in a state of equilibrium…. Peace.
