Special Drive By Excise Department In Pune, 88 Accused Arrested and Liquor Worth Rs 2.98 Lakh Seized
Pune 26th July 2023 : The Excise Department on Tuesday conducted a special drive in Pune to trace and nab those involved manufacturing and sale of illicit liquor. During the search conducted by the excise teams at different locations, a total of 88 accused were arrested while liquor worth Rs 2,98,850 was seized, said officials.
According to the excise department officials, a total of 44 cases were registered under the special drive and material including illicit liquor, beer, taadi and liquid has been seized. A vehicle worth Rs 8,50,000 has also been seized from the accused.
