Tata Motors and Uber Sign MOU to Bring 25,000 XPRES-T EVs to Premium Service in India

Pune, 20th February 2023: Tata Motors and Uber have announced a partnership to bring 25,000 XPRES-T EVs to Uber India’s premium category service, according to an MOU signed between the two companies. As part of its commitment to sustainable mobility, Tata Motors will help Uber electrify its services across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad. The deliveries of the cars to Uber fleet partners will begin this month. The XPRES-T EV is a cost-effective and eco-friendly option that offers enhanced safety and a premium in-cabin experience for customers. Uber has pledged to achieve 100% zero-emission rides, including micro-mobility and public transit, by 2040.
