UPSC Recruitment 2021: Apply For 46 Posts Including Indian Information Service, Opportunity For Journalists

New Delhi, 27th July 2021- Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released advertisement for recruitment to 34 vacancies for the post of Senior Grade of Indian Information Service (IIS).

 

According to the advertisement (No.09/2021) issued by the Commission, along with IIS Senior Grade Recruitment, a total of four vacancies of Assistant Director in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and eight vacancies of Research Officer in the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs are also to be filled.

Interested and eligible candidates can download the recruitment advertisement from the link given on the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in or from the direct link given below. Please read the recruitment advertisement carefully before applying. After this, visit the application portal of UPSC, upsconline.nic.in to apply and click on the link ‘Online Recruitment Application for Various Posts (ORA)’ given on the home page itself.

On the new page, you will be able to go to the application page by clicking on the link of the related post out of the various posts given in the section of Advertisement No. 09/2021. During the online application, an application fee of Rs 25 will also have to be paid, which can be paid through online means. The last date of application has been fixed as 12 August 2021.

 

Indian Information Service Senior Grade (Ministry of Information and Broadcasting) – Candidates willing to apply should possess Diploma / PG Diploma in Journalism / Mass Communication from a recognized University / Institute OR Passed Degree in Journalism or Mass Communication. Also, should have 2 years experience in journalism, publicity or public relations work.

 

The Commission has fixed the maximum age limit of 30 years for this post, which will be counted from the last date of application
