Zomato sets Twitter on fire with their reply when a customer wanted to change non-Hindu delivery boy
Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh), July 31, 2019 : You may have canceled food orders online for several times. May be because of the food quality or late delivery or you have changed your mind. But this reason posed by a Mumbai based customer might take you at surprise.
At 8.26 pm on July 30, Amit tweeted, “Just cancelled an order on @ZomatoIN they allocated a non hindu rider for my food they said they can’t change rider and can’t refund on cancellation I said you can’t force me to take a delivery I don’t want don’t refund just cancel”
Company’s response to this tweet was just the right amount of dose needed to restore the sanity of our nation.
The company executive replied that they can not change the delivery person. Also, refund can not be given even if the order is canceled. This reply won the hearts of Twitteratis, while several posted that they will make orders for rest of the week as brownie points to them.
The man shot back, “I said that you can not force me to order. I do not want refund just canceling the order.”
Shukla tweeted, “ZomatoIN is forcing us to take deliveries from people we don’t want else they won’t refund and won’t cooperate I am removing this app and will discuss the issue with my lawyers”
On this tweet of Amit Shukla, Zomato replied, “Food doesn’t have a religion. It is a religion.”

Meanwhile, Twiteratti has been all praise for Zomato. Although many people responded to the social media, they advised the company to block such customers.
