Anand Van Mitra Mandal Gets Support From SPSB, SpiceJet Team For massive Tree Plantation in Anandvan Phase 2 campus
NIBM Road, 18th July 2021: In a major leap , Anand Van Mitra Mandal (AVMM) through its brilliant initiative Anandvan Phase 2 , when Swachh Pune Swachh Bharat (SPSB)brought many good smaritans together by mobilising young NGOs in collaboration with Spicejet Inflight Team of Pune.
In an electrifying atmosphere, charged with many youth organisations, a substantial part of the land was covered with tree plantation followed by a spontaneous flashmob led by Spicejet inflight team promoting the green cause, The Urban Forest Movement.
Anand Van founder Pravin Kumar Anand popularly known as Kumar Uncle the man behind the green mission lauded the efforts of SPSB for bringing together a large number of hands. Wg Cdr Puneet Sharma a veteran, founder of Swachh Pune Swachh Bharat who also happens to be a Captain on Boeing 737 with Spicejet, thanked #,wephilants #51A #NeldaFoundation #YugFoundation for joining hands. He assured AVMM of continued support and reiterated that best is yet to be.
The volunteers over three hundred in number planted scores of trees on the terrain which till a few days ago was an abandoned wasteland.
