Central Railway Issues Recruitment Notification For 596 Posts; Check Posts, Qualification, Age Limit, Exam Pattern Here

New Delhi, 25th November 2022: The Central Railways has released the Central Railway Recruitment Notification for Departmental Promotion. The board has notified 596 vacancies for various posts under Common Departmental Competitive Examination.

 

The last date to apply for the posts is November 28, 2022

 

As per the official notification, the upper age limit for the unreserved category is 42 years. The educational qualification has also been prescribed for all the profiles listed by the Railway Department.

 

The selection process consists of a written followed by a skill test and the verification of a document round. The selected employees under GDCE will have to pass the training course prescribed by the concerned department.

 

Recruitment will be done on the following posts:

• Stenographer – 8 Posts
• Senior Commercial Clerk cum Ticket Clerk- 154 Posts
• Goods Guard – 46 Posts
• Station Master – 75 Posts
• Junior Account Assistant – 150 Posts
• Senior Commercial Clerk cum Ticket Clerk – 126 Posts
• Junior Account Clerk – 150 Posts
• Account Clerk – 37 Posts
• Educational Qualifications

 

• Stenographer- 12th class pass from a recognized institute. Shorthand speed of 80 words per minute in 10 minutes.
• Senior Commercial Clerk cum Ticket Clerk – Graduation from a recognized University.
• Goods Guard – Graduation from a recognized University.
• Station Master – Graduation from a recognized University.
• Junior Accounts Assistant – Graduation from a recognized University.

 

Preference will be given to a person having an II Division Honors Master’s degree.

• Junior Account Clerk – Candidate must have passed 12th from any recognized institute.
• Accounts Clerk- Candidate must have passed 12th from any recognized institute. read on

 

There is no minimum age limit prescribed for Central Railway Recruitment. However, the upper age limit for the unreserved category is 42 years. Whereas for the OBC category it should be 45 years and for SC/ST category it should be 47 years.

 

The Central Railway application process can be completed in online mode only by following the below steps:

Step 1- First of all visit the official website cr.indianrailways.gov.in.

Step 2- Now click on the ‘new registration link on the home page.

Step 3- Then fill in the details like Name, Community, DOB, Employee ID, Mobile Number, and Email ID. Now, note down the registration number and password.

Step 4- Next, fill in the personal details employment details, and educational qualifications, and then upload the required documents on the dashboard.

Step 5- Select the preferred category of profile and then go to the file “final submission” page.

Step 6- Finally, click on the final submit button and log out from the dashboard.

 

The selection process of Central Railway will consist of three rounds, written CBT followed by an Aptitude/Speed/Skill Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination. The Computer Based Examination will have questions based on the MCQ format.
