Central Railway to Run Special Festival Train Services Between Amravati – Pune and Badnera – Nashik
Pune 20th Oct 2023: In anticipation of the upcoming festive season, Central Railway has announced the operation of 36 special festival train services between Amravati – Pune and Badnera – Nashik routes. These special festival trains are being introduced to accommodate the extra rush of passengers during this festive period.
Amravati – Pune MEMU Services (8 Trips)
Starting from November 5, 2023, and continuing until November 19, 2023, Train No. 01209 MEMU Special will depart from Amravati at 12.40 hrs every Sunday and Wednesday. This train will reach Pune at 02.45 hrs the next day. On Thursdays and Mondays during the same period, Train No. 01210 MEMU Special will leave Pune at 06.35 hrs and reach Amravati at 19.50 hrs on the same day. The trains will halt at Amravati, Badnera, Akola, Malkapur, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Manmad, Kopargaon, Ahmednagar, Daund Chord Line, Uruli, Hadapsar, and Pune.
Badnera – Nashik MEMU Services (28 Trips)
Train No. 01211 MEMU Special will depart daily from Badnera at 11.05 hrs, starting from November 6, 2023, until November 19, 2023, reaching Nashik at 19.40 hrs on the same day. Similarly, Train No. 01212 MEMU Special will depart daily from Nashik at 21.15 hrs, during the same period, and reach Badnera at 04.35 hrs the next day. The train will halt at Badnera, Murtazapur, Akola, Shegaon, Nandura, Malkapur, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Pachora, Chalisgaon, Nandgaon, Manmad, Lasalgaon, Niphad, and Nashik.
All the special festival trains will be composed of 8-car MEMU rake, ensuring comfortable and efficient travel for the passengers. These additional services aim to provide a convenient travel option for passengers looking to visit their loved ones or explore new destinations during the festive period. Central Railway has urged passengers to make use of these special services and ensure a safe and joyful travel experience during the upcoming festivals.
