Coronavirus: Maharashtra Tally Crosses 30 Lakhs Mark With Highest Single Day Spike of 57,074 Cases Today

Mumbai, April 4, 2021: A total of 27,508 patients were discharged and 57,074 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 222 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 1.86%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 30,10,597 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

 

According to the health department, 25,22,823 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 1.86%. As of today, there are 4,30,503 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 83.8% while the fatality rate in the state is 1.86%. Currently, 22,05,899 people are in home quarantine and 19,711 people are in institutional quarantine

 

Out of 2,05,40,111 laboratory samples 30,10,597  have been tested positive (14.66%) for COVID-19 until today.
