CTET 2022: Know How To Get Desired Exam Centre

Delhi, 23rd October 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the information brochure for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). As per the official website, candidates can choose four different cities of their choice for the exam centre. CBSE will choose the examination centre for the candidates in any of these centres. The exam centres will be allotted based on a first come serve.

 

Candidates will have to report at the examination centre as per their admit card at 7:30 AM for Shift-I and 12:30 PM for Shift II, i.e. 120 minutes before the commencement of the examination. The notice states that the candidates who report at the examination centre in Shift-I after 9:30 am and in Shift-II after 2:30 pm will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

 

The application forms will be released on 31st October at ctet.nic.in. Candidates will be able to apply till 24th November and the last date for fee payment is 25th November till 3:30 PM.

 

The CTET exam is conducted twice a year, and the score is valid for life. The exam will be conducted in December or January. However, the exact dates are yet to be announced. Every year more than 20 lakh candidates apply for the exam.

 

Paper I consists of 30 MCQs each from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. Paper II consists of 30 MCQs from Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I & II, and 60 MCQs from Mathematics & Science or Social Studies/ Science.

 

The total number of MCQs for each paper is 150. There are five sections in total. General category candidates need to score at least 60 percent marks to clear CTET 2022. The passing marks requirement is 55 percent for SC, ST and OBC categories.
