New Delhi, 7th May 2022: The National Entrance cum Eligibility Test (NEET) 2022 candidates have submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday requesting to postpone the upcoming NEET-PG examination. The education rights group said that NEET PG 2022 is to be held on May 21 and students from across the country, including Delhi-NCR, have sent a memorandum.

The Medical Students Association on Thursday filed a petition in the Supreme Court requesting to postpone the examination and said that the examination is being held during the counseling of NEET PG 2021.

The memorandum said, “We are writing on the behalf of 15,000 candidates and most of the NEET PG candidates who are suffering due to the ongoing counseling of 2021 and NEET PG examination 2022 proposed on May 21. I want to make you aware of the troubles of these candidates.”

The demands and problems of the candidates are listed in the NEET PG postponement memorandum. It mentions how NEET PG counseling 2021 has been delayed many times by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). Due to this delay, the counseling which ends on May 7, 2022, is creating problems for the candidates, mainly because NEET PG 2022 registration was closed long back.

The NEET PG 2022 postponement memorandum has been submitted to PM Modi, citing all the reasons, problems and other details. Along with this, a petition has already been filed in the Supreme Court and campaigns are going on continuously on social media.
