Haryana Civil Services Examination may be held for 145 posts

Chandigarh, December 16, 2020: Haryana Civil Services Examination might be conducted for a total of 145 vacancies of various posts. These vacancies can be in the departments/posts related to Haryana Civil Services (Executive Branch) and Allied Services. 

According to various media reports, notification for the Haryana Civil Services Examination 2020-21 for a total of 145 vacancies in various departments may be released soon by the Haryana Public Service Commission. However, no official information has been released by the Commission regarding the State Civil Services Examination 2020-21. Candidates preparing for Haryana Civil Services Exam can visit the official website of the Commission, hpsc.gov.in for updates related to the APSC HCS exam 2020-21.

According to media reports, the maximum number of vacancies to be filled through the Haryana State Services Examination is 48 in Haryana Civil Services (Executive Branch). Of these, 29 posts will be for the unreserved category while the remaining posts will be for the reserved category candidates. At the same time, the second-highest number of 46 vacancies for the post of Block Development and Panchayat Officer (BDPO) can be declared, out of which 22 posts will be unreserved and the rest can be for reserved category candidates. Other posts for which candidates will be selected through Civil Services Examination include Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO), District Food and Supplies Controller (DFSC), Assistant Employment Officer (AEO), etc. Are included.

Those candidates who have passed the Bachelor’s degree or Sakmaksha examination in any subject from a recognized university or other higher education institution will be able to apply for the Haryana Civil Services Examination. At the same time, the age limit prescribed for the candidate can be from 18 years to 42 years. However, the maximum age limit can be relaxed for reserved category candidates.
