Pune, 29th October 2023: Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister, Ajit Pawar, has been diagnosed with dengue fever. The diagnosis was confirmed by his party leader, Praful Patel, who also serves as the working president of a rival NCP group.

Contrary to some speculative media reports, which had suggested that Pawar was absent from public events for other reasons, Patel clarified the situation. He stated, “Ajit Pawar has been diagnosed with dengue since yesterday and has been advised to receive medical guidance and take rest for the next few days.”
