Mumbai, 18th April 2023: In a bid to avoid confusion among students and enable them to plan their vacations, the Maharashtra state board schools will start on June 15 every year from now on, according to Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar.

If June 15 falls on a Sunday or a holiday, then the school will start on the next day. Kesarkar also announced that schools in Vidarbha will start from June 30. He also said that the child’s admission to school will be welcomed this year through the pre-school preparation campaign.

The first pre-school preparation meeting is set to be held from April 26, with the second meeting scheduled for June. In addition, the government and local government schools will provide uniforms, books, shoes, and socks to students from classes 1 to 8.

The National Education Policy will provide vocational education to students, and “Grandparents Day” will be celebrated in schools in the coming years.
