Maharashtra: All Religious Places To Reopen From November 16, COVID Preventive Guidelines To Be Compulsory

Pune, November 14, 2020: Given decreasing Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases across the state, the Maharashtra state government today said that the religious worship places will reopen from Monday, November 16.

However, the state government has made usage of masks and social distancing as a measure against the deadly virus. “All the religious worship places in the state to re-open for devotees from Monday, 16th November. Wearing the mask will be compulsory, and all COVID norms will have to be followed”, stated the order from the government.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had also hinted about this information in the last interaction online. He also spoke about resuming classes for Class 9 to Class 12 students after Diwali.
