Pune, October 25, 2020: With the transition in teaching system going from traditional methods to completely digital platforms due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some teachers are finding it difficult to adopt the new ways of teaching.

In a totally opposite scenario, a student from Euro School in Wakad, Pune has come up with a support system to guide and help pre-primary teachers with the transition.

The 11-year-old Kushal Khemani who is currently studying in grade VIth is an exceptional student. Within a time frame of 40 days, Kushal has trained more than 60 teachers via his on-call support system. He has imparted the knowledge on how to use Zoom effectively for teaching. Kushal has also taught teachers how to make colourful and animated PowerPoint presentations for fun and interactive learning.

Apart from assisting teachers, Kushal also has his own YouTube channel ‘AllSpark Infinite’ which is aimed at providing free education for underprivileged children. He records videos on various topics like how to prepare word documents, elocution tips and ways to end procrastination. He is also a blogger and mostly writes about new technologies and the latest skills required to survive in the modern world.

Kushal is an enthusiastic student and his hunger for knowledge doesn’t stop here. He has also written a book and has become an author at such a young age. His book is titled ‘You Got This – 11 Secrets To a Progressive Student Life’. The book is all about motivating students like him to bring about a significant change in the society and instil positive thinking even during the tough times of the COVID-19 pandemic.

With a keen interest in social work, Kushal is also associated with a social entrepreneurship program with ‘GOODCLAP’ where he formed an animal welfare program called ‘SPARKX’. The motive behind SPARKX is to rescue and feed animals on a daily basis.

Kushal’s achievements don’t stop here. He has also designed various apps. At a very young age, Kushal’s thought process encouraged him to build an app for people who cannot speak. His motive was to “give voice to their words” and he went ahead with the idea. The app is known as Speech. This noble thought was appreciated at multiple forums across the globe. He has made multiple apps like a calculator which can calculate more than 100 digits, K browser which is a mega browser app and can be used instead of downloading multiple apps on your phone and Login app which can be used to open websites.

Kushal is very fond of his school and has especially dedicated one app to the principle of Euro School, Wakad. The app is known as the Teacher Tracker and by entering the name of a specific teacher, you can know the details of their schedule and the respective time table.

Students like Kushal set an example for the rest of the world to be committed to their goals and use the surrounding knowledge for the betterment of the society.
