NEP 2020: Union Education Minister Highlights Global Vision at Pune Conference

Pune, 28th December 2024: The National Education Policy has emphasized on multidisciplinary approaches and experiential education. The objective of this policy is to make India a global hub in the field of education and research. Efforts are being made to adopt a data-based approach by making effective use of science and technology. Emphasis should be placed on new technologies and experiential education, appealed Union Education Minister Dr. Sukanta Majumdar.

The 18th ISDSI International Conference of Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM) was inaugurated by Dr. Majumdar on the college campus on Friday. He was speaking at the time. President of PIBM Group of Institutes Pratra Raman Preet, Prof. Dr. Angappa Gunasekaran of Penn State University, Harrisburg, USA, Prof. Dr. Mahesh Gupta, Dr. Debrun Chakravati, Dr. Rajshree Pillai, etc. of the Indian Institute of Management, Nagpur were present on the occasion.

The importance of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 was discussed at the IDC Global Conference organized by the Institute of Business Management, Pune. This policy has given guidelines to further enrich India’s education sector.

This initiative is becoming important to promote innovative research in the education sector and reach the global level. It was discussed in the conference that NEP 2020 is becoming an effective policy to make India’s education sector more efficient, innovative and exemplary at the global level.

The Pune Institute of Business Management organized the global conference.

The Doctorate Consortium ISDSI Global Conference 2024 was inaugurated by Union Education Minister Sukanta Majumdar. On this occasion, the Founder President of PIBM Group of Institutes Prof. Raman Preet, Dr. Rajshri Pillai- Director – International Relations,
Dr. Angappa Gunasekaran-Professor – Penn State University, Harrisburg, USA, Dr. Mahesh Gupta- Professor – University of Louisville – College of Business USA,Dr. Debrun Chakraborty- Indian Institute of Management, Nagpur Prof. Laszlo Szczós- Auckland guided the topic of “Application of Artificial Intelligence in the Service Sector and Future Challenges”.

Dr. Mahesh Gupta-Professor-University of Louisville-College of Business USA (America) gave a presentation on “Integrating Theory of Constraints, Lean and Six Sigma: A Framework Development and Its Application”.
Dr. Angappa Gunasekaran-Professor-Penn Harrisburg School of Business, America guided the topic of “Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods”.

Dr. Prakash Singh-Professor-IIM Lucknow guided the topic of “How to develop an effective research question for a PhD thesis or journal paper”.
Dr. Nikunj Jain-Associate Professor-IIM Nagpur guided the topic of “How to develop an effective research question for a PhD thesis or journal paper”.
