PCI Recruitment 2021: Recruitment in Press Council of India, Assistant Section Officer, and Junior Translation Officer Jobs
New Delhi, 13 January 2021:Press Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, has recently released an advertisement for the recruitment of Assistant Section Officer and Junior Translation Officer’s posts. The application process for these posts is going on. Appointment of selected candidates for these posts is to be done at PCI office located at Niyukti Bhawan, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these posts offline through the application form released on the council’s official website, presscouncil.nic.in. The last date for submitting the application form has been set as February 1, 2021.
Who can apply?
Only those candidates who have passed graduation from a recognized university can apply for Assistant Section Officer posts. However, preference will be given to candidates having PG degree or LLB or degree or diploma in Journalism / Mass Communication or knowledge of any other Indian language other than English / Hindi. Apart from this, the candidates’ age should not be less than 20 years and not more than 30 years as of 1 February 2021.
Similarly, for the post of Junior Translation Officer, candidates should have studied English as a subject or medium in UG with PG in Hindi. The candidate’s age should not be more than 30 years on 1 February. See the notification for more information related to eligibility.
