Pimpri Chinchwad: Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit By Speeding Bike
Kalewadi, 18th September 2023: A speeding motorcycle collided with a pedestrian, resulting in the death of the latter. The incident unfolded at approximately 7:30 pm on Saturday along BRT Road in Kalewadi.
The victim, an unidentified pedestrian, was attempting to cross the road near Raga Palace when disaster struck. At that fateful moment, a high-speed two-wheeler crashed into the pedestrian with immense force. The collision inflicted severe injuries upon the pedestrian, affecting the head, mouth, and various parts of the body.
Despite immediate medical attention, the pedestrian succumbed to the grievous injuries sustained in the accident, marking a tragic loss of life. The motorcycle rider, identified as Arvind Devram Argade, a resident of Thergaon, also suffered injuries during the collision.
Promptly responding to the incident, a 30-year-old woman filed a formal complaint with the Wakad police station. In response to the complaint, the Wakad police have registered a case against Arvind Devram Argade, who is now under investigation for his involvement in the incident.
