PM YASASVI 2023 Exam: Admit Cards Cancelled, Candidate Selection On Merit Basis

New Delhi, 26th September 2023: The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has declared the cancellation of the PM Yashasvi Scholarship Exam, which was scheduled to take place on September 29, 2023. The decision to cancel the exam has been taken to relieve students of additional burdens.

As per the notification released, the selection of candidates for this scholarship will now be based on merit lists. The merit lists will be prepared based on the scores obtained by students in Class 8th and 10th examinations.

Candidates interested in applying for this scholarship must now do so through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) portal. Applicants will be required to visit the portal and submit their applications. To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must have secured more than 60% marks in either Class 8th or Class 10th.

The PM Yashasvi Scholarship Exam, conducted by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, offered scholarships to 15,000 students annually, ranging from Rs 75,000 to Rs 1,25,000 for students in classes 9th to 12th.
