Poona Club Professionals Drafted into 72 The League
Pune, 25th February 2026: Poona Club Golf Course is proud to announce that its professionals Rohan Dhole Patil and Pranav Mardikar have been selected for the inaugural season of 72 The League, launched by the Professional Golf Tour of India.
The league will be held from 24 February to 6 March 2026 and will be broadcast on Eurosport and streamed on FanCode.

Rohan Dhole Patil — Drafted by Nava Raipur for ₹10 Lakhs
Pranav Mardikar — Drafted by UP Prometheans for ₹7 Lakhs
72 The League is India’s first franchise-based professional golf tournament featuring six teams — Nava Raipur, Charminar Champions (Hyderabad), Kolkata Classics, Mumbai Aces, Rajasthan Regals, and UP Prometheans — each formed through a ₹1 crore auction purse.
The league is led by Commissioner Amrit Mathur and Kapil Dev, President of PGTI, and was inaugurated by Jay Shah, reflecting strong institutional support including backing from the Board of Control for Cricket in India ecosystem.
