Pune: Driverless Car Crashes Onto Another Car In Salunke Vihar

Wanowrie, December 23, 2020: A speeding swift car came sliding down towards Salunke Vihar main road and rammed onto another swift car at around 7.45 pm today at Amba Vatika chowk opposite Amba Vatika. 

Eyewitnesses said that the driverless car came sliding from Dutta Mandir temple located some 500 meters away from the chowk and crashed onto a car coming from the opposite direction. In the second car, a man was going home with his six-year-old son and had a harrowing experience when they experienced the accident.

Following the crash when eyewitnesses went to check the driver, they were surprised to find the seat empty. It was after fifteen minutes that the car owner came to the spot when he found his car missing from the spot. He was reprimanded by the onlookers for being careless for not putting the handbrake lock. Following the incident, traffic was jammed for about half an hour.
