Pune: Forts Campaign for Winners of ‘Build a Fort’ Contest Announced by Minister Chandrakant Patil

Pune, 29th December 2023: The prize distribution ceremony of the ‘Kille Banwa’ (Make Forts) competition, conceived by Minister of Higher and Technical Education of Maharashtra Chandrakant Patil, concluded with fervour. Patil announced an upcoming forts campaign for the winners of the build forts competition, emphasizing the inspirational legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s forts.

Patil expressed the importance of instilling Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s thoughts in children and fostering an understanding of his work. In line with this, he declared that a future campaign for forts would be organized for the winners of the build forts competition.

The event witnessed the presence of BJP City President Dhiraj Ghate, BJP State Spokesperson Sandeep Khardekar, State Secretary Advocate Varsha Dahale, and various other dignitaries. The prize distribution ceremony honoured the winners of the fort build competition. Chandrakant Patil marked the occasion by presenting a watch to Suchit Deshpande, the individual who successfully organized this competition.

Children present at the ceremony urged Patil to organize a Kite Festival on Makar Sankranti. Responding positively, Patil announced the organization of the festival in Kothrud and encouraged aspirants to register through the BJP Kothrud Office and his Public Relations Office.

Ghate highlighted the cultural significance of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s works, praising the building of a fort competition for instilling cultural values in children.
