Pune, February 21, 2021: If lockdown applied brakes in almost all the spheres of life, it however brought the estranged couple Rahul and Simran (names changed) together. Simran and Rahul who were married a few years ago had issues in their married life.

This was the second marriage to both of them. Rahul’s first wife had died leaving their three children while Simran had separated from her first husband. Both got married and were living happily.

However, Simran was suspicious of Rahul’s behaviour. She alleged that Rahul was having an affair with his colleague at the office.

Despite repeated attempts by Rahul, Simran refused to budge. They filed for divorce at Pune family court.

Rahul was ready to give a flat, a car and gold in alimony. Before the court could give the final decision, the State went under Covid-19 pandemic lockdown last year.

Simran went to live with her brother and his family. During this period she realized the importance of having her own family. Here, Rahul wanted his wife to come back. He was ready to spend his life with her.

Simran contacted Rahul and showed her willingness to stay with him. Both applied in the court and said that they want to live together.

Rahul’s advocate Amit Rathi said, “My client Rahul cleared Simran’s doubt and thus both of them wisely decided to live together”.
