Pune: Man Falls Of Motorcycle Due To Dug-Up Road, Crushed To Death By Car Coming From Behind
Hinjewadi 22nd July 2023: The waterlogging and dug-up road has taken a life of a citizen in Hinjewadi on Friday after he fell off the bike and was crushed by another vehicle coming from behind. The incident took place near Metro Bridge, Hyderbad House in Hinjewadi at around 9:40 am on Friday.
A 33-year-old person identified as Nilesh Rajendra Patil has lost his life in the incident. According to police, the deceased and his associate were going towards Hinjewadi Phase 3 circle when they fell off the bike due to mud with waterlogging and dug-up road.
However, as they fell, another car coming from behind could not control the speed and one of them was crushed by the woman driver. Nilesh sustained serious injuries in the incident and was later declared dead by the doctors.
A case in this regard has been registered at Hinjewadi police station against an unidentified woman driver under sections 279, 304(b), 337, 338 and 42 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) along with relevant sections of the Motor Vehicle Act. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
