Pune: Merit List For The Second Round Of Admission for Class XI To Be Released Today
Pune 3rd July 2023: The merit list for the second round of admissions for 11th standard in Junior Colleges as per the centralized admission process will be announced today. The list will be shared by around 10 am. The students who will be allotted seats in the colleges in this round will have to confirm their admission by July 5.
In Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal areas, a total of 1,14,350 seats are available for the online admission process for 11th standard. Out of these, 89,394 seats are reserved for centralized admissions, and 24,956 seats are under quota admissions. In the first round of admissions, 27,255 seats were allotted to students under the centralized and quota admissions.
Since the eligibility scores of the registered colleges were relatively low in the first round, students and parents have been eagerly waiting for the second round.
As per the schedule released by the education department, the timetable for the second round was announced earlier. Between June 27 and June 29, students were given the opportunity to rectify any errors in the first part of the form filling process for colleges. Then, on July 3, the merit list will be released, and admissions to colleges will be confirmed for students declared eligible until July 5. Moreover, the admission process under the quota will continue until July 5.
