Pune Obstetric and Gynaecological Society Welcomes New Managing Committee

Pune, May 15, 2023 – The Pune Obstetric and Gynaecological Society (POGS) witnessed the installation of its new managing committee for the term 2023-2024 during the POGS Installation CME event, centered around the theme of ‘Safe Surgical Skills.’ Leading the new POGS team is Dr. Meenu Agarwal, who assumes the role of President. Joining her is Dr. Vaishali Chavan, who takes up the position of Honorary General Secretary.

The remaining members of the committee include Dr. Charulata Bapaye as the Clinical Secretary, Dr. Kundan Ingle as the Vice President, Dr. Ashwini Kale as the Executive Vice President, Dr. Archana Pungliya as the Treasurer, Dr. Amol Lunkad as the Joint Secretary, Dr. Chinmay Umarji as the Joint Clinical Secretary, and Dr. Veena Todkar as the Joint Treasurer. The official installation ceremony took place in the presence of esteemed guests, including Chief Guest Dr. Hrishikesh Pai, President of FOGSI (Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India), and Guests of Honour Mr. Bharat Agarwal, President of Vishwakarma University, and Ms. Namita Thapar, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals. Former President Dr. Parag Biniwale and past Vice President Dr. Milind Dugad were also in attendance.

During the event, outgoing President Dr. Parag Binniwale shared his thoughts and experiences. The event was skillfully hosted by Dr. Sabrina Bokil and Dr. Nilesh Balkawade, while Dr. Vaishali Chavan delivered the vote of thanks.
