Due to these various reasons, the service of 5036 officers and employees from the Municipal Corporation has ended. The number of employees in the municipal corporation has decreased and the work of the municipal corporation is being done by contract workers.
In the year 1992 in PCMC, due to increasing population, increasing area, an increasing number of shops, clinics, factories and industrialization due to all these, the recruitment process was completed. But since there is still no recruitment in the Municipal Corporation, there is a shortage of employees. So it is important to start recruitment as soon as possible.
50-100 officers are retiring or taking voluntary retirement from the municipality at the end of the month. Due to non-recruitment for many years, there is stress on the municipality even during the work of civil services. Therefore, since the Municipal Corporation has been included in the B category, the Corporation has prepared a new plan of work in which many new posts have been created.
All Municipal Corporations have been asked to recruit employees in April. Accordingly, for the recruitment of 4292 posts, the examination was conducted in the first phase for 128 posts in the medical department. But this recruitment process has been stopped by the High Court.
