Pune: People Coming From Other States Not Required To Carry COVID Test Report If Vaccine Doses Taken

Pune, 17th August 2021: Citizens coming to Pune from other states will not be required to carry RTPCR test reports for COVID19 if they have taken both doses of the Corona vaccine.

 

According to the new rules issued by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), it is not mandatory for those who have taken both doses of vaccine to test RTPCR. However, those who have not yet been vaccinated will be required to submit an RTPCR test report in the last 72 hours. Otherwise, such passengers will be kept in quarantine for 14 days after entering the city.

 

Pune municipal commissioner Vikram Kumar and Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal commissioner Rajesh Patil issued the revised order on Saturday as per the directions of the state government.

 

Under the new rules, shops, malls, and restaurants will remain open till 10 pm from Sunday (15 August) with preventive measures, and cinemas, theatres, and temples will remain closed until further orders.
