Pune Police Seize Sound System And DJ Mixer From Effingut Breweries Restaurant & Bar For Violating Noise Pollution Regulations
Pune, 4th March 2023: Effingut Breweries Restaurant & Bar in Koregaon Park, Pune, faced action by the police for playing music with a loud sound system.
On March 3 (Friday), police officers from the Social Security Cell of Crime Branch were patrolling the area when they noticed the loud noise coming from the restaurant and bar. They confirmed that music was being played loudly on the sound system and took action against the establishment.
The police officers seized the sound system and DJ mixer from Effingut Breweries Restaurant & Bar, which is located at Lane No. 6, Koregaon Park, Pune. The value of the confiscated sound system was estimated to be worth Rs 3.1 lakh.
The seized equipment has been handed over to the Koregaon Park Police Station for further action under the Noise Pollution Regulations as per the Noise Pollution and Environment Protection Act.
