Pune Railway Station Installs ‘Relaxing Zone Kiosk’ With Modern Massage Chairs

Pune, 23rd July 2023: The Pune Railway Division has taken a step forward in enhancing passenger comfort by introducing a “Relaxing Zone Kiosk” at Pune station.
Inaugurated by Dr. Milind Hirve, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, the kiosk features state-of-the-art robotic massage chairs from “Arama” company, offering weary travelers a chance to unwind and rejuvenate right on the platform.
Conveniently located on platform number one, the massage chair facility is available at different time slots, with prices ranging from Rs 60 for five minutes to Rs 180 for 20 minutes. The benefits of using the massage chairs include improved blood circulation, reduced muscle tension, relief from back and neck pain, better body shape, and improved sleep quality.
This initiative aims to ease passenger fatigue after long journeys, especially when facing delays, ensuring a more comfortable and enjoyable travel experience.
“Pune division is keen to provide airport-like facilities at railway station. In this regard, a relaxing zone has been inaugurated at the station where modern massage chairs have been made available for the use of passengers. This facility will be available round the clock”, said Dr Ramdas Bhise, Divisional Commercial Manager and PRO, Pune railway division.
