Pune: Sai Chavan Selected As Bowler In Under-15 Girls’ Maharashtra Team
Pune, 22nd December 2022: The Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) has announced the under-15 girls’ Maharashtra team. Based on her performance, Sai Chavan, from Pune, was selected as the right-arm fast bowler in the team.
Sai Chavan, a student of class nine, received admission to the Airforce School, Viman Nagar, Pune, in 2014. She started playing cricket at the age of seven. She has played various matches at the club level, district level and state level. Her father is working as an Assistant Police Inspector in Maharashtra Police and currently, he is working with Pune police.

MCA organized the first ever under-15 girls’ invitational league per the guidelines of BCCI ( Board of Cricket Control in India). In this league, Pune District Cricket Association (PDCA) won the Under-15 Girls’ Championship trophy in 2022.
