Aundh, 18th January 2024: Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has scheduled a crucial meeting with citizens tomorrow, Friday, January 19th, at 12:30 pm at the PMC Aundh Ward Office. The meeting is organized to address and hear the protests of concerned citizens against the proposed cutting of trees on Baner Road for road widening.

PMC is encouraging citizens to attend the meeting in large numbers, emphasizing the significance of public participation.

The public meeting has been convened by the Pune Municipal Tree Authority Department to facilitate a discussion on the objections raised by citizens regarding the complete removal or replanting of trees, as outlined in the public notice published on January 3, 2024.

PMC is urging citizens who have submitted objections to attend the meeting and present proper reasons and factual evidence supporting their concerns. The meeting serves as an opportunity for citizens to voice their objections, ensuring that their perspectives are heard and considered in the decision-making process.
