Pune: Two Young Girls Killed In A Lightning Strike In Nasrapur, 1 Injured

Pune, 3rd May 2021: Two young girls were killed in a lightning strike at Nasrapur in Bhor tehsil. Another girl has survived.

The incident took place between 3.30 pm on Sunday (2nd May) when three girls were playing near a hill close to their house. Among them, Seema Arun Hilam (11) and Anita Sinkdar More (9), both residents of Cheladi, Nasrapur, have been killed, while Chandni Prakash Jadhav (9) has survived from this, but fainted at the moment. The villagers rushed them to Siddhivinayak hospital. Among those young girls, Seema and Anita died before the treatment, said Dr Jagdish Farate.

Zonal officer Shrinivas Kandepalli, Talathi Jalindar Barkade, Police inspector Vilas Deshpande, assistant police inspector Manoj Kumar Navsari, PSI Rahul Sable and Pramod Bhosle inspected the spot.

The efforts are being taken to get government aid for the family of the deceased
