Pune: Wall With 48 Bharat Ratna Awardees’ Paintings Inaugurated On Republic Day

Pune, 27th January 2023: The Wall of a Multinational Company has been Painted with 48 faces of Bharat Ratna Awardees at Pimpale Jagtap village near Shirur (Pune) to honour the contribution of Bharat Ratna Awardees! This Initiative was inaugurated on Republic Day in presence of family members of Maharshi Karve, Bhimsen Joshi -Bharat Ratna Awardees. Madhure Infra Engineering Pvt. Ltd. has taken an initiative for these paintings. Umesh Madhure and Sunita Madhure, owners of Madhure Infra Engineering Pvt. Ltd informed about this initiative through a Press Release.

The wall belongs to ‘Jiangyin Uni-Pol Vacuum Casting India Pvt.Ltd.- a Multinational company with a head office in England. Madhure Infra Engineering Pvt. Ltd. works for this company in building infrastructure. Umesh Madhure came up with the idea of painting the faces of Bharat Ratna Awardees on the wall and requested an England based company for formal permission. After getting permission, two artists from Madhure Infra Engineering Pvt. Ltd. portrayed 48 faces of the Bharat Ratna Awardees on the wall. Brief information about Awardees is also given with paintings.

These artists were felicitated in the unveiling programme at hands of Ankit Handa, Director of ‘Jiangyin Uni-Pol Vacuum Casting India Pvt. Ltd.Mayur Vaidya and other dignitaries will be present at the function. Relatives of Bharat Ratna Maharshi Karve and Bharatratna Bhimesen Joshi were present at the function. Students of nearby schools also visited these paintings on Republic day.
