RAJANDRA R. PAWAR TAKES CHARGE OF DEFENCE ESTATES OFFICER AT PUNE CIRCLE
Shri. Rajandra R. Pawar has taken over the charge of Defence Estates Officer, Pune Circle on 03/02/2017 from Dr. D. N. Yadav who was already transferred as Chief Executive Office Pune Cantonment Board and was holding additional charge of DEO office.
Shri. Rajendra R. Pawar who is an IDES officer of 2000 batch and originally from Dhule had joined the Defence Estates services as Joint Chief Executive Officer of Kirkee Cantonment Board. He had already worked as Chief Executive Officer Aurangabad Cantonment, DEO, Jhorat then as Deputy Director at Principal Directorate Defence Estates South-Western Command Jaipur. The last posting of Shri. Rajendra R. Pawar was as Chief Executive Officer Mhow Cantonment Board MP.
The Defence Estates Office Pune Circle has five Cantonments viz. Pune, Kirkee, Dehuroad, Ahmednagar & Aurangabad containing about 20,000 acres of Defence land and Eight District of Maharashtra viz. Pune, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Satata, Kolhapur, Sangli, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurgh containing about 59,000 acres of Defence land in its jurisdiction.
The Defence Estates Office, Pune Circle in past have played important role in allotment of Defence lands in its jurisdiction for the Public infrastructure projects such as widening of various road passing through all Cantonments, Aundh Camp, sanctioning of fly over at Lullanagar Junction and also two Rail Over Bridges at Ghorpadi railway crossing etc. Now the newly joined DEO Shri. Rajendra R. Pawar will also help the PCMC authorities for getting the sanction for most awaited permanent road to Bhopkhel village through Kirkee Cantonment.
