Reliance Jio Partners with University of Oulu to Bring 6G to India

Mumbai, 21st January 2022: Reliance Jio has stepped forward in bringing 6G to India. Today Jio has announced a partnership with the University of Oulu to develop 6G. This will allow the possibility of exploring 6G in the coming days. This collaboration will further expand Jio’s 5G capabilities and help explore use cases in the 6G era, apart from cutting-edge research and development of the technology.

 

 

The arrival of 5G will provide high-speed internet, low latency and great data and network. Machine type communications and virtual work will get a boost after the arrival of 5G in the country. On the other hand, with the arrival of 6G, call-free MIMO, intelligence surface and tera-hertz frequency support will be received.

 

 

According to the report, 5G and 6G will be able to work together. With this, the Internet will be made available to the customers in a large scope.

 

6G will play a vital role in aerial and space communication, holographic beamforming, 3DConnected Intelligence Cyber Security, microelectronics, photonics.

 

 

The arrival of 6G will bring major changes in sectors of defence, automotive, white goods, industrial, consumer goods, manufacturing, smart-device environment, computing and autonomous traffic. Jio has more than 400 million subscribers in India. Jio Platforms already has an active development program for its 5G RAN and Core Platforms, which has been facilitated through Jio Labs.

 

 

Reliance Jio is ahead in terms of 5G. It is completely working on Made in India 5G. Jio is ready for the 5G launch. The company is just waiting for approval from the government.
