SBI PO 2020 Recruitment: Notification Issued For 2000 Vacancies

Pune, November 16, 2020: State Bank of India (SBI) has published the recruitment process for the post of Probationary Officer (PO). With the release online notification, the registration process has begun on the official website of the bank sbi.co.in. Interested and eligible candidates can submit the IBPS PO Application before December 4. Application filling has started from November 14, 2020.
The recruitment notification was expected to come earlier but delayed due to Coronavirus (Covid-19). This recruitment process is for 2000 vacancies. The application process will continue till December 4, 2020.
Successful applicants will be called out for SBI PO Prelims Exam, scheduled on 31 December 2020 and 2, 4, 5 January 2021. All the candidates who successfully pass the prelim exam will be eligible for the main examination. The main examination will be held on 29 January 2021.
The selection process will be in three stages namely prelim exam, main exam and interview. The prelim examination will be of 100 marks MCQ method. The exam will be based on English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The main examination will be of 200 marks.
Eligibility: Candidates should be a graduate from recognized university. The age limit is 21 to 30 years. The selected candidates may be posted anywhere across India.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Graduation from any recognized university or any qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Those who are in Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2020. Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2020. Candidates possessing qualification of Chartered Accountant may also apply.
Age Limit: Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.04.2020 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.1999 and not earlier than 02.04.1990 .
