UPSC Has Released Recruitment For Many Posts Including Engineers, Specialists, Etc; Check Eligibility, Vacancy Here

New Delhi, 24th September 2022: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications for the posts of Prosecutor, Specialist, Assistant Professor and Veterinary Officer. The eligible candidates can apply online for the posts by visiting the official site of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. A total of 52 posts will be filled through this recruitment. The last date of application is 13 October 2022. There are 12 vacancies for Prosecutor, 28 for Specialists, 2 for Assistant professors and 10 for Veterinary officers.

The qualification for the posts are given below:

1. Prosecutor:

Bachelor’s Degree in Law. and years of experience
Maximum age limit- 30 years.
Pay Scale – Level 8
2. Specialist Cadre (General Medicine):

MBBS Degree and PG Degree or PG Diploma and three years experience.
Maximum age limit- 40 years.
Pay Scale – Level 11
3. Assistant Professor:

Degree and PG Degree in Ayurveda Medicine.
Pay Scale- Level 10
Upper Age Limit- 50 Years.
4. Veterinary Officer:

Maximum age limit – 35 years.
Pay Scale – Level 10

The application Fee is Rs 25 which can be paid by credit or debit card. However, there are no fees for SC, ST, Women and Disabled categories.

Apart from these, there are two other recruitments currently done by UPSC.

The first one is UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2022. The last date to apply is October 4. Through this recruitment, 327 posts of Group A and B will be recruited under Engineering Services in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. The Engineering Services Preliminary Examination will be conducted on 19 February 2023. Candidates having a degree in engineering can apply for this.

The second one is for the recruitment of UPSC Geo-Scientists. The last date to apply for this recruitment is 11 October 2022. The pre Exam is on 19th February 2022.
