UPSC Releases Notification for CAPF Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2025

New Delhi, 6th March 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the recruitment for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Assistant Commandant (AC) for the year 2025.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 357 vacancies across various paramilitary forces, including the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

The selection process consists of several stages, beginning with a written examination scheduled for 3rd August 2025. The examination will comprise two papers: Paper I, which focuses on General Ability and Intelligence, will carry a total of 250 marks, while Paper II will cover General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension, accounting for another 200 marks.

Candidates who successfully clear the written exam will then proceed to physical efficiency tests and personal interviews. This comprehensive selection process ensures that only the most qualified individuals are chosen to serve in these critical roles.
