Bollywood Actor and Model Poonam Pandey Passes Away at 32 After Battle with Cervical Cancer Confirms her Manager

Mumbai, 2nd February 2024: In a heart-wrenching development, beloved Bollywood actor and model Poonam Pandey has succumbed to cervical cancer at the age of 32. The tragic news was confirmed by her manager in an official statement on Poonam’s Instagram page.


The statement expressed the profound grief of losing Poonam and requested privacy for the mourning period. It read, “This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared.”


Despite initial speculation on social media, Poonam’s manager, Parul Chawla, clarified the authenticity of the news when contacted by India Today. Chawla revealed, “She got detected with cancer sometime back, and it was in the later stage. She was in UP, her hometown, and the funeral will mostly happen there. We are yet to get more details.”


Poonam Pandey, who made her acting debut in the 2013 film ‘Nasha’ and was recently seen in the reality show ‘Lock Upp,’ leaves behind a legacy of entertainment and a fan base that admired her talent and charisma.
