Bureau of Indian Standards is recruiting for a vacancy of Scientist

Delhi, June 5, 2021: Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has invited applications for the Scientist-B posts. Under this, a total of 26 posts will be recruited. interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website www.bis.gov.in. The application process has started from today i.e. June 5, 2021, and will continue till June 25, 2021. Candidates should note that no applications will be accepted after this.
According to the notification issued by BIS, the candidates will be selected in Civil Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Chemistry / Textile Engineering on the basis of GATE Exam 2019, 2020 and 2021. The maximum age of the candidates applying online for this post should be 30 years. Apart from this, the reserved category candidates will be given relaxation as per the rules of the government. While applying, candidates should keep in mind that they should read the notification thoroughly, because if any discrepancy is found in the form then the application form will be rejected.

This is how the selection will be
According to the notification issued by the Bureau of Indian Standards, the selected candidates will be called for the interview on the basis of the score obtained in the GATE exam. Applicants can visit the official website for more information related to this recruitment process.
Candidates selected for the posts of Scientist-B will be given Rs 87,525 at the time of joining.
