CM Uddhav Thackeray Orders Thorough Inquiry In Ahmednagar District Hospital

Mumbai, 6th November 2021:  Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has expressed his condolences over the loss of 10 lives due to fire that broke out in the ICU ward of Ahmednagar District Hospital today.

He has also directed to conduct a thorough inquiry into the matter and take stern action against those responsible for the negligence.

The Chief Minister spoke to Guardian Minister Hasan Mushrif and the Chief Secretary and asked them to immediately see that there would not be any problem in getting treatment to the patients currently undergoing treatment. He also directed the District Collector to conduct a thorough inquiry into the accident and submit a report.
