New Delhi, 10th March 2025: The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) has extended the application deadline for its 2025 recruitment drive to March 22, 2025.

This extension comes as a relief for candidates seeking to apply for 642 vacancies across various positions, including Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), Executive, and Junior Manager roles. The decision was made to accommodate applicants facing technical difficulties during the initial application period.

The recruitment process initially began on January 18, 2025, with a deadline set for February 16, 2025. However, DFCCIL announced the extension after receiving feedback from candidates about issues in the online application system.

Interested candidates can now apply through the official DFCCIL website at www.dfccil.com. The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for MTS posts, document verification, and medical examinations.

DFCCIL is a government organization under the Ministry of Railways tasked with developing and operating dedicated freight corridors across India. The recruitment drive aims to fill critical positions required for the smooth functioning of these corridors.

The available posts are divided into categories such as Junior Manager (50 vacancies), Executive (442 vacancies), and Multi-Tasking Staff (150 vacancies). These roles offer competitive salaries ranging from ₹16,000 to ₹1,60,000 per month depending on the position and level.

Eligibility criteria vary by post. For Junior Manager positions, candidates must hold a relevant degree in engineering or management and fall within the age range of 18-30 years.

Executive posts require a diploma or graduate degree in relevant fields with an age limit of 18-30 years. For MTS roles, candidates must have completed Class 10 or equivalent and fall within the age range of 18-33 years. Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

Speaking about the extension, DFCCIL spokesperson Rajesh Kumar said, “We aim to provide equal opportunities to all eligible candidates. Extending the deadline ensures that no deserving applicant misses out due to technical challenges.”

Candidates are advised to carefully read the official notification available on the DFCCIL website before applying. They should also ensure that their applications are error-free and submitted well before the new deadline to avoid last-minute issues.

This recruitment drive is a significant opportunity for individuals aspiring to work in India’s rapidly expanding freight infrastructure sector. Applicants are encouraged to complete their registration promptly and prepare thoroughly for the upcoming selection stages.
