Indian Air Force Brings 120 People Stranded In Afghanistan
New Delhi, 17th August 2021: The Indian Air Force’s C-17 aircraft took off from Kabul airport on Tuesday morning carrying 120 Indian citizens. All these people are officials of the Indian Embassy in Afghanistan. Apart from this, security personnel are also included in this.
All these people were brought to the safe premises of Kabul airport last night. After spending the night at Kabul Airport, they boarded the Air Force plane to return home.
Apart from this, people of moderate views from Afghanistan are also fleeing the country. There is an atmosphere of fear, especially among women, and they want to escape from the Taliban.
Meanwhile, the Indian government has decided to recall the ambassador from its embassy in Kabul. Apart from them, other staff are also being called back immediately. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi has given this information.
Apart from this, the Ministry of Home Affairs has changed the rules of visas so that people coming from Afghanistan can be helped. A new category of visa ‘e-Emergency X-Misc Visa’ has been introduced for entry into India. Through this, fast track settlement of visa applications will be done.
